• League Officer’s schools to instruct officials on fulfilling duties to their leagues will be held in August.

September

• Be sure league rules are approved and each captain receives a copy.  

• Schedule for the complete season should be posted at the establishment or passed out to each team captain. 

• To retain complete coverage for bonding and awards, remember to submit the league certification application within 30 days of the first night of bowling.  

• Obtain complete information on individual membership application cards and send in no matter when the bowler joins the league. 

• Entries for 2012 USBC Open Tournament in Baton Rouge, due October 1^st.

October

• MDUSBC Adult/Youth Tournament at Kingswood Lanes in Clinton Township, October 2 & 9. MDUSBC Junior Masters at Thunderbowl Lanes in Allen Park on October 29. 

• Tentative league prize list should be approved no later than five weeks after the start of the season.

November

• MDUSBC Super Senior Masters at Van Dyke Bowl in Utica, qualifying rounds November 5th, Head-to-Head competition on November 6th.

• Be sure to enter the MDUSBC Masters Tournament, so you don’t get shut out. 

December

• MDUSBC Queens Tournament at Mayflower Lanes in Redford on Dec. 4.

• MDUSBC 500 Women’s Club at Classic Lanes in Rochester Hills on Dec. 11. 

• MDUSBC Masters Tournament entries close when 160 entries are received. 

• Secretaries should send in averages of all league members as of December 31, 2011 (Youth averages also required as of December 1^st).  

January

• MDUSBC Membership meeting January 15th.  

• MDUSBC Masters Tournament qualifying rounds January 21 & 22 at Century Lanes in Waterford, Head-to-Head competition on January 28 & 29.  

• MDUSBC Youth Team, Singles and Doubles Tournament at Sunnybrook Lanes in Sterling Heights on January 8, 15 & 29, February 5, 12 & 26.

February

• Qualifying rounds for MDUSBC Senior Masters Tournament (50 years old and over) February 11^th at Rosebowl Lanes in Roseville.  

• Senior Masters head-to-head competition on February 12 & 18. 

• MDUSBC Women’s Championship Tournament and MDUSBC Open Championship Tournament to be held February 4th - March 4th at Cherry Hill Lanes in Dearborn Heights.  

• Be sure to have league meeting before signing contract with the bowling center for 2012-13.

March

• MDUSBC Senior Team Tournament at Ford Lanes in Dearborn Heights on March 3, 4 & 10.  

• Annual yearbook average sheets mailed to league secretaries.

April

• Please complete pre-printed yearbook average sheets before the designated deadline of April 15, 2012 (AVERAGES UP TO AND INCLUDING APRIL 1^st), making sure all required information is included and returned to MDUSBC office.  If secretaries have not received forms, they should call the MDUSBC immediately at (888) 753-6350.
