UPDATE
Last week I reported about the proposed change in the USBC awards program beginning in the 2008-09 season. Well lo and behold I received an update postponing the change after my press deadline with the following simple statement:
The USBC Board has postponed any changes in the awards program for one year, and has promised to review the previously-announced "once in a lifetime" proposal during that time.
That means the awards program currently in place for the 2007-08 season will remain in place for 2008-09 while the entire program is reviewed.
