Bowling
fans take note. The Professional Bowlers Association invades Thunderbowl Lanes
in
The PBA Regional Players Championship kicks off the run with eight games of qualifying on Saturday and Sunday followed by single elimination match play rounds for the top 64 players on Monday to crown the champion.
The grind begins on Wednesday, May 27 with five days of nine game blocks on each of the five demanding PBA lane patterns.
At the end the top eight players will earn exemptions for the 2009-2010 PBA season.

Wes Malott prevailed in week five of the PBA King of Bowling series with a 300-223 triumph over Parker Bohn III.
Malott began as the “king” in week one and beat every challenger that emerged during the five weeks. He also shot a perfect 300 game in week three over Walter Ray Williams Jr.
In the first season of the King of Bowling, Malott confirmed his PBA Player of the Year title by winning the crown.
