GREATER
It’s
that time of year once again, when men bowlers who’ve been associated with the
great sport of bowling at least 25 years and are at least 40 years of age,
gather to renew friendships at the 79th Annual Old Timers Bowling
Tournament and Party.
The
event will be held Saturday, Nov. 28 at Thunderbowl Lanes in
The
entry fee is a reasonable $9 for bowling only or $22 for bowling and the banquet
following the 1 p.m. squad.
Each
bowler will be given a commemorative gift and be eligible to win prizes either
overall or in their age group. The age groups are 50 and under, age 50 to 59, 60
to 64, 65 to 69, 70 to 74, 75 to 79 and 80 and over.
A
good time will be had to all.

The pro shop will supply a turkey or ham to each family, in addition to the food collected, in order to help those that have been adversely affected by the economy.
All food items should be dropped off at the pro shop before Dec. 20.
