President Libbi Fletcher and Century Bowl Association Representative John
Rossetto presented two teams from the Monday Classic League their awards for top
nationwide performances during the 2005-06 season Monday night at Century Bowl
in
The I 2 Live Bowl team shot their team series score of 2,947 on Dec. 19, 2005. Their series placed second in the nation in the three-men, one-woman team series category. Their score ranks fourth in the all-time local records. The top score in the nation during the 2005-06 season was 2,962.

Bowlers Choice / Buds’ Pro Shop team shot a four-person team game score of
1,123 on May 1, 2006 placing second in the nation in the four-men team game
category. The top score in the nation was 1,124. This also set a new mark for
the MDUSBC eclipsing the old record of 1,112. It is believed to be the highest
four-person team game shot in

Dallas also received recognition for the top series in the MDUSBC in the 2005-06 season with 877 on games of 299, 300 and 278. His series is tied for fifth all-time in the local records. The MDUSBC record for individual series is 879.
The Metro Detroit USBC Association became effective May 1, 2006 as a result of the merger of the Detroit Women’s Bowling Association, Greater Detroit Bowling Association, Greater Detroit Youth Association and the Pontiac Women’s Bowling Association serving nearly 90,000 adult and youth bowlers in the Metropolitan Detroit market.
